Emile Shepperson and Bob Britain, winning saddles at Moss's Wrangler Classic 2002
Emile was still riding bulls professionally and had not roped in 8 years in the arena. He stepped on a borrowed heel horse in the box as they called his name for the third time. Bob and Emile went on to win the roping.

Zans Dogie Man, 1998 gelding, Trained, Owned and Ridden by Dusdee Shepperson.
"Nickel" has numerous 1d wins and is an excellent outdoor horse. He has placed at many rodeos. He has won many average awards. He is Mr. Consistent. In 5 years of competition, this horse has not hit a barrel. I also rope on him and he runs a wicked pole pattern (no tipped poles in 5 yrs either)
For Sale to approved home only, so that I can spend more time on my up and coming futurity colts.

His 2 yr old half brother out of the same mare, is for sale also, www.allbreedpedigree.com/breezebythebarryen

Lih Red Jackie, owned, trained, ridden by Dusdee Shepperson, currently owned by Emmie Romann, Iowa
This mare was my start in barrel racing, she is a little cow horse, with a heart the size of Texas. She was my ranch horse and she took to barrel racing like a duck to water. She won so much, I can't even list it all. When the day came for her to go teach little girls, I cried. She happily went to the Masters family and gave Ashlin the confidence she needed to move on to another horse, now she is taking care of Emmie, and I am so proud of all of them. "Glitter" is 18 this year and still going strong and steady...what an awesome mare.
My great aunt and uncle Thorris and Lynell Sandvick gave Glitter to me when she was four years old. Thank you. She was and continues to be such a blessing, as are the two of you. I love you both!

"Flicka"-owned, trained, and ridden by Dusdee Shepperson.
A star that was taken from us as she just began to shine.
Never forget where you come from! Glitter and Flicka were my first barrel horses. We lost Flicka at age 6. I was leaving for Witchita, KS the following day for the NBHA Nationals. We will never forget her, she was a sweet mare.
Rest In Peace Baby Girl.

Lih Red Jackie-aka Glitter-Now
This is a picture of Emmie Romann and Glitter. Emmie is now Glitters jockey. Don't they look great! Glitter will be 18 this year, and still going strong. Best of Luck to these two, we will be cheering them on.

Velvet, owned, trained, ridden by Emile Shepperson. Raised by Dusdee Shepperson.
Velvet is out of Lih Red Jackie. She was supposed to be a barrel horse like her mother, but no one ever got that through to her. When we lost the paint horse, her half brother, out of the same mare, at the tender age of 6, I gave this mare to my husband to replace him.
Velvet is one supersonic heel horse. She has won money at jackpots, rodeos, and team ropings all over the country. We have had a lot of offers to buy her, but she is truly "not for sale."

Emile roping on "Cowboy" a horse borrowed from Tracey Griggs, at Guthrie, Oklahoma during the 2003 USTRC finals.

Bells Prissy, owned, trained and ridden by Dusdee and Emile Shepperson. I bought Bell by accident and almost caused a divorce. At 15, she had been a trail and ranch horse and acts like she is on speed all the time. I trained her on barrels and poles and started heading on her, the next spring, Emile took her over and now she has won money in all three events, at jackpots, team ropings and rodeos. Whenever someone needs a horse in any of those events, they borrow Bell. She is an all around great mare, 19 yrs old, going on 4.

Chicki Music, seasoned, hauled, and ridden by Dusdee Shepperson.
When Flicka broke her leg, a girl I knew was pregnant, she let me take Chicki and run her. I hauled Chicki 5 months and seasoned her into a solid competitor. She was a fun mare who would give her all every time for you. I won quite a bit on Chicki.
Sadly, her owner lost Chicki to colic last year. It was a very sad day, as I loved that mare also.
Rest In Peace Little Hot Rod.
